Description

The Kleinmetall VarioCage MiniMax XL is a safe and compact transport bench, designed for responsibly transporting a small dog or cat in the Tesla Model S (2012-present), Model X (2015-present) and Model Y (2020-present).

The smaller grid spacing of 5 cm makes this bench particularly suitable for smaller pets, while the design follows the same high safety standards as the larger VarioCage models.

The MiniMax XL features a integrated crumple zone and has been extensively crash-tested by the Swedish testing institute SP, according to the recognised SPCT method. The crash tests included simulations of frontal and rear collisions and falls, ensuring that the bench meets the most stringent animal safety requirements.

The door is equipped with a double lock which prevents it from opening during an accident. Thanks to the gas pressure spring and easy-to-operate one-hand release the door opens smoothly and stays open while getting in or out. The bench features an integrated lock and attachment eyelets for the use of an additional padlock if required.

For emergencies, there is a rear escape hatch fitted, allowing your animal to be moved to safety via the rear seat side if the tailgate is not accessible.

The MiniMax XL is adjustable in length and available in several sizes, making it suitable for a variety of vehicles. The slightly sloping front and rear walls ensure efficient use of boot space.

The gold finish gives the bench a distinctive, elegant look.
