The Kleinmetall VarioCage SXS is an advanced transport bench specifically designed to provide your pet with maximum safety while travelling in a Tesla Model X (2015-present) or Model Y (2020-present). This bench combines high-quality materials with a thoughtful design focused entirely on protection and ease of use.

Equipped with a integrated crumple zone and certified on the basis of intensive crash tests, the VarioCage offers a level of protection rarely matched. The tests were carried out by the Swedish testing institute SP according to the recognised SPCT method and included simulations of frontal collisions, rear-end collisions and crash incidents.

The bench door is equipped with a two-step lock which prevents it from opening during an accident. Thanks to the quick release with one hand and a gas spring mechanism, the door is easy to open and stays open while loading or unloading your dog. For extra security, the crate has a built-in lock and attachment points for a padlock. In the event of an emergency, your dog can be accessed via a rear hatch out of the car on the backrest side, should the tailgate not be accessible.

The VarioCage is adjustable in length and therefore fits a variety of vehicles. The sloping front and back ensure optimal use of the boot space.
