The Kleinmetall VarioCage double S is a high-quality dog kennel designed for safely transporting two dogs in the Tesla Model X (2015-present) and Model Y (2020-present). The removable partition wall also allows the crate to be used as one spacious dog crate.

For maximum safety, the VarioCage is equipped with a integrated crumple zone and subjected to extensive crash tests on frontal and rear impacts, as well as drop tests. These tests were carried out by the Swedish SP Institute according to the SPCT safety standard, which sets this bench apart in terms of crash protection.

The doors feature a two-step lock which prevents them from opening unintentionally in the event of a collision. With the one-handed operation they are quick and easy to open, while a gas spring keeps the door open during entry and exit. The built-in lock provides standard security, with additional attachment eyelets for a padlock as an additional locking feature.

At the back of the bench is a escape hatch, so your dog can also be taken out of the car via the backseat side when the tailgate is not accessible.
