Description

The Kleinmetall VarioCage double M is a premium dog kennel that offers maximum protection for two dogs in the Tesla Model X (2015-present) and Model Y (2020-present). Thanks to the removable partition wall the VarioCage double can also be used as one large bench.

The bench is equipped with a crumple zone and has been extensively tested for frontal impacts, rear-end collisions and falls. These crash tests were conducted by the Swedish national testing and research institute SP, according to the SPCT method (Safe Pet Crate Test), and make the VarioCage unique in terms of safety.

The door of the bench features a two-step closure which prevents it from opening in the event of a collision. Thanks to the one-handed quick release the door can be opened quickly and easily. A gas spring keeps the door open automatically during the animal's entry and exit. The VarioCage is lockable with a built-in security lock and equipped with additional eyelets for the use of a padlock.

At the rear is a escape hatch, which allows your dog to be brought to safety via the rear seat side in case of an emergency, should the tailgate be blocked.

The bench is adjustable in length, making it adaptable to the space in the boot. Thanks to the slightly sloping front and rear walls, the available boot space is used optimally.
