Description

The Yakima FullBack 2 is a premium bike carrier for mounting on the tailgate of the Tesla Model S (model year 2012-2018).

The sturdy steel frame accommodates two bikes, with a maximum load capacity of 15.9 kg per bike and a total weight of 31.8 kg.

Thanks to the clever hub system, the top frame and support arms can be easily rotated and firmly locked into position with the rotary knobs. Soft rubber cushions on the contact points protect the car's paintwork from scratches, while multiple lashing straps ensure stable attachment to the tailgate.

When not in use, simply fold the carrier flat for compact storage.

As the bikes are transported suspended, a horizontal top tube is desirable. For bikes without top tubes or with steeply sloping geometry, the Yakima TubeTop adapter is available separately.
