The Treefrog Pro 1 Plus Bike carrier comes with an extra large universal base for front fork attachment, which allows effortless transport of different bikes with various front fork systems, regardless of diameter and width, without having to adjust the front fork attachment each time.
For this, you do need to order additional Plug Sets that match the bikes you want to transport. These plug sets can then be easily inserted into the universal base, giving you the right attachment for each bike within seconds. The Pro Plus carriers are ideal for situations where multiple bikes need to be transported.

Electric bicycle
To transport an electric bike, it is important to know that you need a rack that is stronger than for regular bikes. So if you want to transport one electric bike, it is smart to use the Treefrog Pro 2 carrier to choose from. Although the Pro 1 rack can officially carry up to 20 kg, it is more important to consider how well the rack supports the bike.

In fact, electric bikes need more stability because they are bigger and catch more wind when you ride hard or in side winds. The Pro 1 carrier has a shape that is less stable in hard driving or side winds, while the Pro 2 carrier has special suction cups that ensure the bike is firmly fixed even in difficult conditions.
