The Kleinmetall VarioCage SL is a safe and functional dog kennel, developed for responsible transport of your pet in the Tesla Model X (2015-present) and Model Y (2020-present). This bench is distinguished by solid construction, smart safety features and an adjustable design suitable for a variety of vehicles.

The built-in crumple zone provides additional protection in the event of a collision. The crate has been extensively tested for frontal and rear impacts and fall incidents by the Swedish test institute SP, according to the SPCT crash standard. This makes the VarioCage one of the most reliable solutions for safely transporting dogs.

The door features a two-step locking system, which keeps it closed even in the event of an accident. The gas spring supports opening and keeping the door open, while the one-hand release ensures easy use. An integrated lock and additional attachment points offer the possibility to additionally secure the bench with a padlock.

For emergencies, an escape hatch is integrated at the rear, allowing your dog to be freed via the rear seat side when the tailgate is not accessible.

Thanks to its infinitely adjustable length, the VarioCage SL can be precisely adapted to the space available in the boot. The slightly inclined front and rear contribute to efficient use of boot space.
